Tapet.se drivs som en del av Tapetterminalen, en av Sveriges största tapetleverantörer. Tapetterminalen ägs i sin tur av Gimmerstagruppen. En koncern som började som ett litet familjeföretag i färg- och tapethandeln i Borås någon gång i mitten på 1900-talet. Mycket har hänt sedan dess.
